True, but it shouldn't be anything like the UK version if it wants any chance at succeeding. Trying to be like the boys is what made TG Australia so pointless.
TG America isn't for the rest of the world, it's for America so being the antithesis of the UK version is exactly what it has to be.

Granted, just don't label it "Top Gear".
Although Rig Stig and Big Stig being regulars on the show would be hilarious.
I haven't gone out of my way to watch TG or anything but i have watched it a fair few times when its been on.. They've done some pretty hilarious stuff..
Chingy, what are you driving at the moment?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you don't live for something, You die for nothing.
My favourite family car at the moment is the Cadillac CTS-V Sedan. I love how it looks and that it's better in almost every performance category than German sedans costing up to $20,000 more. I plan on owning it one day.
The Audi Q7 is my favourite SUV. I sat in one at an auto show and it was the single most comfortable thing I've ever sat in or on. Also plan on getting one of these eventually.
Money-no-object would be the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV. Obviously never going to have one though.
You could probably guess but the Nissan Skyline R34 is my favourite track car. I plan to own on once I take care of the important things (marriage, daily driver car, home) and run it on a track on weekends.
As for classics, the Lamborghini Miura is by far my favourite. Definitely the sexiest car ever made, and the father of supercars to boot. I'll obviously never be lucky enough to own one of these either.
For manufacturers Lamborghini is my favourite money-no-object maker because of how insane and flamboyant their cars are. As for affordable makes I'd go with Honda because of their engines. Every manufacturer makes a couple cars I like but every Honda has an awesome engine. Even if you buy an Accord or a Civic you can be proud of the engineering effort that went into making the engine.

@N1YTR0: I don't have a car (or license!) at the moment, only just moved to Canadia.
Family Car? Probably the BMW 5 series. What a gorgeous piece of machinery and, since it was our first proper "family" car, I've always had a soft spot for this particular range of beemers.
SUV or Truck? Screw SUVs and trucks. Although the Land Rover Discovery LR4 is pretty shweet.
Money-no-Object Car? Porsche Carrera GT. Best. Engine. Noise. EVAR.
Track Day Car? Probably the Jaguar Palmer JP1 from 2002. A very underrated piece of machinery which gave Radical a run for their money back in the day.
Classic Car? The classic gullwing, Mercedes 300SL. The SLS AMG is a beautiful throwback to that stunning icon (+1 to FOM for adopting it as the safety car in F1!)
Will you ever buy them? "Try not. Do. Or do not." The question is when.
Money-no-Object Manufacturer? Anything from Ferrari or Lamborghini, for obvious reasons.
Affordable Manufacturer? Jaguar. No explanation required.
Totally agree about the Carrera GT. Definitely one of the best engine sounds in history.
I was readying Autoblog just now and saw a story about how the Canadian Auto Dealer's are trying to ban RHD cars. That would make it impossible to import a Skyline until it's 25 years old! What a bunch of cheese eating communists, I freaking hate these people!

I saw a video on YouTube a couple days ago of Ferrari testing a hardcore version of the 458 and noticed it only had two exhaust pipes instead of the three on the standard car so I was thinking the middle pipe is just a fake like the stacked pipes on the California.
If you look closely at this picture the middle pipe actually looks smaller than the other two - Link
I definitely think the middle one is a fake. Kind of disappointing but I'm not really surprised because I knew the California had fake ones too. I wonder if there's even any exhaust gases flowing through the middle one or if it's literally nothing but an unused pipe stuck there for show.
