D2D or Direct2Drive are games which you download from online game stores such as Steam. They're digital versions of games.
    Coolermaster Storm Stryker
    MSI Z87-G43 Gaming
    Corsair CM750 750W 80+ Gold Modular
    16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance PRO 1600MHz
    MSI RTX2060 ARMOR SUPER OC 8GB DDR5
    Intel core i5-4670K 3.5GHz
    1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200
    1TB Samsung EVO Basic 850

He knows that, I think what he's asking is in regards to trainers for D2D downloads (i.e. non steam) would he be after the Retail trainer or not. For which the answer is - it depends on which game it is. :/

Yeah, I know they are DL games, I meant in regards to trainers as FireflyPoi pointed out. So I assume that the only way to tell which trainer to use is to DL the steam and retail versions and whichever one works i keep. I do like Loop's sig regarding Space Marines...I'm a fan of Warhammer 40k....I can't wait for the Retribution Expack to come out.

They are probably considered their own version. The code in the executable is different since it's written to run without the disk (compared to retail versions). They're also different than Steam releases because those games are written to use the Steam API.

    So yeah.
