a Hydra is good for blast-away styles! best use in the thick of battle! I've been playing mercenary co-op mode for 1 or 2 years and I've noticed many players who just like using Hydra to blast everything! it didn't take me a long time to notice that many of them are noobs, not newbies 'cause these fools never take care of the clock nor heed warning, just march their butts forward to be kicked and ruin other's kills. Anyway, a Hydra is good for almost everything!

Yeah it really does pack a punch. Though, I'd only use it if I was in a desparate situation. Otherwise, I like the challenge of not using it throughout the game. I stick to the M3.
