Actually it's clear what happened to me. They are upset that people use trainers in Single Player. Stats in Single Player apparently affect your gamer tag on multiplayer. Of course, I think it's silly since that gamer tag score doesn't really do anything, it doesn't give you any special abilities in multiplayer maps and you don't start off with extra resources because you pwned in Single Player.
No, it's purely e-peen, bragging rights and all that. And so it's horribly wrong and stupid for them to do this to people. I can understand perhaps the 15 day multiplayer ban. Fine, whatever, right? But to block a persons CD key permanently when they bought the game? That kind of action will only turn customers away, especially from getting the other two Starcraft 2 parts that will come out with the Zerg and then Protoss.
No, this is about people who made hacks. Trainers =/= hacks.
Even so, suing is a bit extreme.

It's their definition, not ours. Their definition of a "hack" is actually "Unauthorized 3rd Party Program" which is literally any program that helps cheat whether online or offline. That's pretty extreme to me.
