For all of you who are getting banned for playing in SP mode its because youre getting achievments and scores that carry into MP. If you want to use this trainer without getting banned, Play in guest mode or offline mode(when it asks you to log in on Battle.net if you look to the right, you'll see "Play as Guest" click it).

Achievement score doesn't do **** to ladder standings. If they actually meant something then 90% of the participants of the GSL should be in Bronze League for having an Achievement score of 0. I know the competitive scene quite well and there is nothing about Achievement score in it. MP ranks are based on a hybrid ICCUP point system that changes as you play ladder ranked games.

dammit i fell victim of the perm ban hammer. I cannot believe they didn't a. send me a fair warning b. revoked my ability to even play single player... I've basically lost the right to play the game period! I don't even play online competitively. Since SC1, i've loved the user created contents and played those maps preferably the RPGS and TDs. I **** around playing solo on those maps alot for the fun of it. Now i'm banned for doing so. SC2 needs to allow the creation of user created maps in offline mode like they did with SC2. This is such BS that a company this size can't bother to understand this or they do and just don't give a crap. I believe it's the latter and will no longer support blizzard. I sold my blizzcon tickets, i canceled my wow account and i'll play Diablo 3 through other means. They've lost a loyal customer from this BS. /rant

sneaky little thing i have worked out. blizzard afraid to loose money and/or be sued for billing an account with no way to stop will not perm ban any account linked to a active recurring wow account. i discovered this by mistake on my backup account when i was testing the trainer for the multiplayer game mods to unlock the portraits. i got pinged 3 times in 3 days and was only down for a max 48 hours each offense.

So what you're saying is that if you got a WoW account you get a near free pass to cheat in SC2, but if you don't give them money on a daily basis your butt is banned on first offense without warning. That sounds really fair /sarcasm

You'd think that with all the work that goes into reading the hundred and thousands of complaints they'd just whack a programmer on the head, get 'em to include a snippet of code that disables achievements when a 3rd party program is detected and that'd be the end of it. But apparently it's a great idea to just outcast everybody that buys a legitimate copy of the game, cause the player some undue stress and probably lose a customer from not wanting to buy further installments... never mind that the money spent paying the people to crack down on legitimate games could also be diverted to cracking down on pirated versions.

I'm not one to question the "legality" of it, as the article says... but I do question the potentially shoddy business practice.

Ah, well... was just curious; stopped playing this game when it lost its flare and came back recently thinking I'd pick it and see it can do what games are supposed to do; provide some fun. I guess reading the article was a laugh in and of itself... but beyond that? Heh.

Well, i have used the trainer a while ago, maybe before the statement, but i never really play multiplayer, played a few games, got my butt handed to me in 5mins. (rushers ruined online RTS games in my opinion)

I stick to single player only for my enjoyment, but the sad thing about RTS games now-a-days is that they are all designed for rushers in mind, which means you HAVE to rush to succeed and that is such a shame.

Might as well mod the game and take out base building and just give you infinite generating resources and just let you spawn units instead, since no one builds a base anymore.

The last true RTS game was Star Trek Armada, now that game was a true RTS, that required real strategy, while modern RTS just needs you to build combat units as fast as possible and rush.

Well, i personally deleted the game when Blizzard said that they were banning ANYONE using a 3rd party program to cheat and that is NOT what i would do.

I personally don't care if people cheat on single player part of games, i mean i have a mate that plays SCII and has all the achievements on Single Player and i thought he used a trainer.

One weekend, he proved it, he went through the whole campaign while i was there, took breaks and stuff, but he finished it all on the highest setting with no cheats and thought 'meh, who cares.

It honestly makes no difference to me, but i guess blizzard are likely just acting like those childish idiots that think cheating at anything is lame, i personally grew out of that phase when i was...erm 12 years old.
