I have been trying to load Generals and Generals 0 Hour onto my new Windows 7 OS. Each time the game will not play. I also tried to load my C&C First Decade discs with no luck. Can anyone advise if/how to play these games on Windows 7?? Thanks
Have you try to run it has Administrator? If that doesnt work try to update your graphics sometimes that works. If I new more details like it goes to a black screen or black screen and freezes, just error detail would be great. Alot stuff dont run or will not start up for alot of reason, we just need more detail what it does when you try to is all.

u dont need to run as administrator just click setup
Make a new text file in BOTH your "Generals Data" Folder AND your "Generals Zero Hour Data" Folder (Both Will be found in your My Documents....now in that file copy paste this:
i just copied and pasted this from another forum but it works on mine no problem. in the txt above where you see "********************" put in your serial there and all should be fine
the only thing that made it work for me was to lower the desktop resolution to 1024x768 before launching the game, since the game won´t launch if the desktop resolution is bigger then what the game can handle
