R.U.S.E. Message Board  

i can check for r.u.s.e and civilization V and the trainer for civ V is still working. The trainer for r.u.s.e is activating and then its not working.

Tried a work-around to get the trainer functioning and thought I had it, but still can't get it to keep the game from crashing.

Basically, I went into the game without the trainer running and created a new skirmish game, then saved that, and exited the game.

Then, I ran the trainer, started ruse, and activated the trainer.

Finally, I loaded my savegame. The map appeared briefly and I could see the game, but before I could do anything (even activate one of the cheats), the game closed out again, but this time I got an error message from RUSE that said Crash! Access violation, and created a log... Offered to dump it by email and I declined lol. Didn't get a screencap of it but it's the first time I've run into it using this trainer.

Note that before when I tried to start a skirmish game with the trainer activated and running, I get no error message. The game simply closes down and I get booted to desktop before the map is finished loading.

Really, really annoying.

German Version of the Game. Trainer didn´t find game...
What can I do?

Move away from Germany to any other country in the world where they don't have stupid rules on video game violence.

I live in Germany as well, there are a few Shops where you can order the US/English Versions.
I get those from the Retail shop of may Choice.
