Other than killing Craw***** 10,000x, how have you guys managed to get the pearlescent items?

I'd like to know too.

200+ hours played and yet to find one lol

I think the level you are counts. Also, I tend to find more in the Gen Knoxx DLC than anywhere else in the game. Also you might find more everywhere in Playthrough 2. Also if you have money, sometimes the weapons vending machine has them. Rarely but I've seen a few in there.

i wasn't aware there were better weapons than the eridian weapons you get at the end of the main game, but then i haven't played any of the DLC's.

Honestly, I don't like the Eridian weapons that much. They are too slow sometimes, they are good on certain enemies but so are some of the other guns too. Only the one with the 886 damage is one that I keep. Or if I'm a lower level and tend to run out of ammo a lot, I'll keep all the Eridian guns I gather and use them up to spare my ammo. After a while, when the guns take too long to recharge, I just sell them.

I have never encountered these types of weapons after playing through twice with six different characters. Would you please provide more information about them? Thanks.

Same here... 4 characters, x2 playthru each and co-op playthru twice as well... and still no Pearlecent stuff! Anyone able to link or u/l a pic or two? What do they look like? Does the title shimmer like a rainbow? Is there a way to up the Percentage of drop in the (ini?) files?

I think they're mainly dropped by bosses and mini bosses, when I was at the part with the showdown with Kromm I got Kromm's (Or was it Sledge's?) Shotgun which was pearlescent, and thats fairly early on in the game as far as it goes with expansions. Either that or it's simply randomized.
