I'ts really simple accually, the more changes, the more the need for re-calibration.

I.e. you use inf.movement and make a unit go half-way around the world, and then kill a barbarian and do the other half of the world and then press endturn, thats not normal for the game, ergo it double(?) and triple check to see if its a mistake it made, wich it's not..


The game arent buildt to be manipulated, so it ends up banging it's head against a wall from time to time..

For me game start to take longer time between moves after i discover over half of map (huge),and got over 100 workers,and lot of units (turn takes lit`bit over 15sec) ... so my opinion -more you have for game to proceed, more time it takes between turns ...
In small maps ,playing without trainer,turn never takes longer than 10 seconds ...
And yes hopefully with outcoming paches some fixes will arrive ...
