After pressing F1 at Main menu i keep crashing with a General protection fault. History:address=0x1181 (filename not found) GetPluginCount()address=0x15a8f95 (filename not found). Is it the patch or trainer?
I did everything I could, got the offline key, everything aside from uninstall and reinstall and I don't want to do that because the 1.31 trainer worked fine. I have the Gen Knoxx DLC and Claptrap with the electronic download and they limit you to 5 installs, I've used 2 already on Gen Knoxx cause I got a new hard drive so I would rather see if they might have made a mistake in the code of the retail version. Mine crashes as soon as I hit F1 also. I have gone into detail on all the steps I took on this thread, but I moved the screenshots over here in case it will help the devs. My post and steps I took to try to fix this are at the bottom of that page.
I had the same problem with v1.4 trainer retail. Tried running the trainer in compatibility mode. I have Vista so tried running trainer as administrator. Finally decided to run the game as administrator also, and noticed that the trainer no longer recognized the game when I pressed F1. I am running the Direct2Drive digital version of the game, so I decided to download the Steam version of the trainer and voila - everything works fine. If I recall, I had to do the same thing with Dragon Age Origins. I hope this helps some of you.
I've been running the new updated Retail version and have had no problems at all. I can even run Fraps with no problem either, but I could with version 1.31 also. Thank you and good job devs!
