The title for this: Link article says it all really:

The creator if Minecraft (a game that has not even reached the Beta stage yet, and only costs $15 to buy for life) now makes $350,000 a DAY, just by selling this game. The average time between sales is 3 seconds.

I don't really see the appeal.

Trust is a fragile thing. Once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Those we're closest to can betray us,and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.

It looks interesting for an Engineer, but not really for me.

On another note, I like how all the stuff looks like it was built using Legos.

I was about to say you already posted this, but that was someone on a different site..Goes to show you, hard-work does get you somewhere..but he does have a bit a luck, a week after being created it started to become a hit..

As cool as this looks, I won't be getting it. Why? Because I don't like MMO's. They require you to spend tons of time on them to level up and grow strong enough to the point where you can begin to have fun. Not to mention that once you do, you have to constantly work to keep yourself going. No, I prefer games that I can play and not have to worry about stuff like that.

Nope, it isn't an MMO. It's a sandbox game to the truest idea of a sandbox game. I've been blogging about my own mine in an RP style blog. Go read it, and try not to feel compelled to buy the game.
