1. Agreed. Kovu is the successor that Scar chose, not his son. 2. True again, in many cases, the Lioness is the deadly one while the Lion is the lazy one.

1. They live on the Savannah, it's grasslands. They don't actually rule the jungles in The Lion King. 2. Male lions are petty, mostly scrap amongst themselves and do little for the Pride. The lioness hunts, raises cubs and protects them with deadly force.
The lioness is more fit to rule.

He was eaten alive by hyenas, to top that off all of his followers died or switched sides by the end of the sequel.
Scar lost. Even if Kovu HAD been Scar's cub (Which the film itself denied) Kovu bore none of Scar's ideals. Nothing was carried on.
Not only that, but I don't see Disney marrying Kiara off to Simba's cousin.
