i have a geforce 8600GTS 256MB GDDR3 video card on can you run it.com i meet the min reqs but it says i need a 8800GTS can i run this game iv heard that u can run game a little below what ever the game says r the min reqs is this true i rly want to play this game o the bandwidth on my card is 32GB/s on the 8800GTS its like 64GB/s is this a problem

it will run on a 8600 GT with 512 MB video ram

but i don't know about a 256 MB one because that's a bit low for a texture rich game like DR2
this game is more CPU dependent than Graphics
although if you have something less than an AMD Atholon 5000+ with AT LEAST 2.5 Ghz and less than 2 GB of RAM

I think you will have trouble running some parts of the game.

Be sure to turn off unnecessary graphic features. I would turn shadows off, texture to middle, and lightning low.

I would say that if he has a decent CPU and good RAM he will be fine even at 1024x768 resolution but best keep it at 800x600
I'm running everything on lowest and getting decent FPS even in the middle of the streets with tons of zombies.
Really this game is CPU not GPU dependent

Hi, when I see "CPU dependent" I start to worry that my PC (Not my laptop) wont be able to run it, and my PC spec is Intel P4 3.40Ghz, 2.5GB RAM, HD 4670 512MB, as said I worry about my CPU spec, do you guys think my old PC can run it? Oh most of the gun that CPU dependent like Crysis and L4D1/2, I can run the game smoothly at 1027x768 Res, but not sure at this game, so what Res so run?

Do you guys know if i can run it on my laptop? Specs are:

Intel Core 2 Duo @2.0Ghz
GeForce 310M 512Mb VRAM
1 Gb RAM

yes it can but make sure that you don't select a high quality options .
