We have the STEAM version and trainer is tested and working with it. There will be no difference in trainer working if you buy Retail version. Try completely uninstalling McAfee to see if it helps.

I have the No-CD Skid version, but the game crashes when I use the trainer. any solution?

Nope, didn't work for me. Game crashes everytime I initialize the trainer. Dl'd the version from 22.12 but filedate is 27.09....

Crashlog says:

There is no german version of Dead Rising 2. It's not even available here. It's the US-version.
