You only need time then. LotRO is going free to play, which means you don't need money, except for premium stuff or w/e they'll offer. And I've played the trial, it isn't Crysis 2 so you don't need a gaming PC.

Well my desktop computer is ten or eleven years old and runs windows ME, my laptop isn't up to it either thats on it's last leg, so I think I will need a new one lol. And I do need money, even though the game is free, computers cost heaps. Oh damn and I'll probably need a faster internet connection too lol
Happens with most MMO's that don't beat WoW or come close, they end up being Free, as said you will pay for certain things, perhaps a mount or raid dungeons. But everything else will be accessible.
Also like EQ2 you won't be able to use the auction houses, so can't sell any loots.
