CHAPS NEW TRAINER VERSION.221,seems to have gone wrong, sorry to say. It seems to fall apart at any time of the game, on first install it it did on 5, 6, or 7 options, actually raise all the opposition to classical level. Also a on restarting PC, would not load a saved game. Have a cup of Tea and a Cake, and when you are ready give it another slapping! Have Fun
CHeatHappens Staff thanks for the quick production of the recent trainer for the recent patch. Good Job! Caliber is right when he says to turn off the trainer key after using it to prevent crashes. Also, I recommend after each patch that comes out(too many patches for a popular game such as the CIV series) you have to start a new game with a new save to prevent crashes. Again, Good JOB CheatHappens Staff!
I agree with Apdospro, But on my PC it goes bananas! press the golden era, culture type buttons, the game can do some odd stuff, like on next turn, all other major powers to classical era. Its also got more very more crashy (could last well be into the last big Civ, before going for a Burton! (sorry "**** up" in modern day parlance)). Even more odder, when trying to open a saved game, since updates, it crashes on start of loadup. Even odder, on another restart, without rebooting, when selecting the African Chap, on launch of first city, could not stop "free" tech, mode. I got to "Mr Bush" level at 4000 BC, which was mint, but nothing else?. Before the last "Steam Pudding" update, in General it worked fine, and its been like that for the last six months, a few crashes but hey ho work in development. Its either my PC (Dell XPS420 - getting long in the tooth, it runs Shogun2 fine, still Vista home with 1gb ATI Graphics card), a screw up at Steam Pudding, or some weird oddball think that happens in code, on various platforms/Systems. What to do.Over to you chaps, Any Ideas?
Sorry to say, I have found that the problems that I encountered, were probably nothing to do with the trainer, I went on the Steam Pudding website, and found that you can defrag and verify their code, on doing so, game does seem to work correctly, two errors were found. Did however re load latest trainer. Minty!. Just a note, if anybody falls down the same pit. Have Fun.
