Game seems fun so far. Trainer will be awesome for it whenever they get around to it

no worries , sure they will make a trainer and as they always do a good or a mega and how knows maybe ULTIMATE man this will be HOT But you should give them a 24hrs at least LoL Trainers made just for money and some other values are very easy to made while if you want Instant build 1 Turn Research , Show map , or stupid A.I. Those need scripting and some time ...

Me too. This one is queued up in Steam for when I get home from work later. Luckily for Cal, it's probably going to be one of those games that won't need a trainer after the SDK is eventually released.

I just want to see the map so I can get the best city placement.

oh trust me, this game doesn't suck, well the demo so far doesn't, the only downside is that its set to normal game speed and i always play on Quick setting.

So, everything builds WAY too slow for my liking.

If you go in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5
there's a config.ini and a usersettings.ini

In the config file there's a line that says
; Set to 1 to activate the debug panel
DebugPanel = 0

and in the usersettings.ini there's a DebugMode = 0

Change both those 0s to a "1" then when you're in game just hit the ~ key to bring up the debug menu, there's a reveal all option in there that will let you see the whole map. Have fun!

PS Don't know if that works for the demo, and don't forget to backup files!
