bullet proof vests might not have been perfected till the 60's or 70's but flak jackets were used in WW2 and there was a form of light armor vests made from thick layers of cotton padding and cloth used by gangs in the US in the late 20's and early 30's, so why no body armor in this game?

I think the logical anwser would be that this game's about sound firefight tactics, not necessarily about being a one man army, taking cover and only popping up to return fire then hiding back under cover again to recover health.

it's ok, personally prefer to run and gun, sure the trainer helps with that for the pc version, but for others who play like and are stuck with a console version, i think they'd appreciate having more protection so they're not always running from cover to cover.
