I like the idea of a DNA based computer, but this cyborg whatever makes me feel uncomfortable somewhat. I guess it's the characteristics of a rat displayed through that machine that got to me most.

This scares me somewhat. Why does everyone assume that what happened in "The Matrix" was so far fetched? Once cyborgs get smart enough, they'll wonder why they have to take orders from us.

You do realize there will be a huge amount of red tape in ethics before we're anywhere remotely close to using anything near the intelligence of humans right?

True, I realize that, but who knows if it'll happen or not? If it does, hopefully I'll have the option of living on a different planet.

You will either be extremely old or no longer alive by the time technology will have advance that far.

Unless they have technology available at that time to keep me alive for hundreds of years. In any case, I'm opposed to trying to make inanimate objects pseudo-animate to that level.
