I played the game on PS3 I got stuck near what I think is the end of the game because the game keeps freezing, but yeah this game clearly had a lot of potential yet didn't deliver on it. I get the sense this was going to originally be more like the GTA series in terms of it having side missions and making use of the open environment. As it is, it seems there wasn't a point to making an open environment since there is nothing significant to do in it. It seems like it's just there to create the illusion of things not being so linear or controlled. Overall it's too short and could stand to have its cover, aiming, and hand to hand mechanics enhanced. It was still worth the rent though.

Me I don't care about the open world aspect either way but I can understand how people fel about it. The fact is I think that the only reason those stores exsist in the game is so you can eveade the police, regain health and it gives the feel as if this is a living breathing world.

I feel as I've said beofre that the game would have benefited more a longer and more develped storyline.

i blame the game reviewers, at least for part of the game turning out the way it did, the developers are at fault too, but these reviewers like ign, gamespot, pcgamer and the like, they review so many games they essentialy standardize their reviews down five or six key points, they may elaborate in their written review, higling some highs and lows, but they don't get into the meat of the game, finding all the wanted posters, getting the playboys, etc... The developers don't seem to listen or maybe they don't here it, but they should be listening to critiques in previews and beta tests about complaints they could improve upon, and sure, you can't please everyone, as the old song goes, but they could certainly try harder.

I do pay attention to what reviewers say at Gamespot they seem to be very accurate, but when it's a game like this that I was so excited to buy even before it came out it doesn't matter all that much what the reviews say.

i was excited about this game when i first heard about it, so much so that i reserved a copy at gamestop, but then after it did come out and i read the terrible review ign did on this game and thought i might've made a mistake pre-ordering it, but then i got it home and i played it and came to love it.

i think they're very informative, if a little biased, and help gamers make informed decisions about what to spend their hard earned money on, but like any bit of information in this digital age, it should be taken with a grain of salt, as the old saying goes.
