He is talking bollocks, no public alpha/beta testing. If he wants to prove it he knows he can do screenshots of it with a /say message of "Hi everyone at cheathappens" on it.

Guarenteed it wont show up that screenshot.

I never pre-order games, you don't know when a potential hit can turn to ****, and the addon's they give you do little to boost your game expirience(armor, weapons etc), also it is all stupid, atleast for me

Disappointed at ZS's 2 months earlier lack of screenshots.

Why do people persist on trying to say things that won't happen >.<

    Silly silly silly.

But on a side note, only a couple of weeks to go, I have pre-ordered the collectors edition just for those extra goodies in game, not interested in the artwork book or the other silly extras :P

I am torn about anticipating this game, of which I am really hoping it is a high quality game. Dragon Age: Origins is hands down, for me anyway, the best overall RPG I have ever played, period. Considering that DA2 is coming out about 16 months after DA:O, I am a little wary of how big the game will be. According to the official specs, the disc space requirement needed for install is only 7gigs, compared to 20gigs for Origins.

Considering the time-line between the two, there's no mention ever of a different engine to run the game (doubt there's was time to build a totaly different engine while making the game as well, not even enough time), so I suspect that the toolset available for DA:O will be used for D2 as well. Unless they used some different kind of file compression system to fit more into smaller files, either the game will be watered down graphically (I doubt), or the campaign will be about half the length of Origins (more likely scenario, and that would totally suck).

Either way, I am getting and hoping it is as good as Origins was.

I think they said the retail disc will be 7GB in size, but after installing its much bigger.

The map is quite large being the Free Marches, I remember Bioware showing a map in full showing places you can goto etc. Quite a lot there.

Just have to wait and see, and hopefully no more lag after 30mins - 1hr play, that bugged me a lot.

Origins minimum requirement was for 20gig of HDD space, and it is on one disc. Again, unless they are using some newer more comprehensive file compression system for DA2, I don't see how 7gigs on one disc translates to being as big as Origins is when it is 20gigs on one disc.
