yeah, i've heard some bad things about dell, the worst was a rumor, or maybe it's true, about a counter hidden in the dos programming i think it was, that counted down the days until the mobo fried itself on purpose so the purchaser would have to get it replaced by dell specifically.
Raving nonsense.
What they did was use inferior capacitors on the motherboard (usually exploded within a year). Then when they discovered the capacitors were crap, the covered it up, because they'd been using them for about 18 months, and recalling every computer they'd made in that timeframe would have cost them billions.
excellent, i'll have to check them out.
i checked them out, at least i went through the list of items of what i would want in a pre-built rig, i didn't care for the fact that they only offered intel as a processor option, but other than that it seemed like a good site.

Well I'm just glad to help. Well if you do decide to buy from them I can tell you now from my experience it would be a good purchase. I've already bought one rig from them previously and I'm getting my new one from them as well.
and i hope that when the time comes to get another computer, that i'll have a place of my own, cause right now i can't afford to move out, if i am though, i wonder if i'll be able to afford a new computer.
Well if and when you can move out I'm you'll find your priorities change in regards to money. For me it was many years before I could afford my own computer and when I ddi buy one I tried to get the best bang for my buck.
