Hand To Hand Fighting on Mafia II PC Message Board - Page 1

I noticed recently that when I fight someone hand to hand all I can throw and hard punches and not light ones. I have a theory why this is happening and right now I am reinstalling the game. A few days ago I downloaded a CD fix for the game from a website I will not mention and I think that is what is causing the problem.

If anyone has any other thoughts or ideas on the subject please share them.

I have no issues with hand to hand combat at all. Now to the CD Fix's there to many fakes out there. I will PM you the proper one.

The situ is worse here: i can't punch hard, even light. Just block works fine.

Absolutely the same problem here. I am gonna reinstall the game and I do not plan to use any no-cd fix - I think crack is a problem.

This is very strange. Not having any issuse at all. Altho there is a patch coming out.

Well I'm no longer using any No DVD/CD fixes. They were making the game act strangely like chracters firing when there was no enemy around. And I'm using the Trainer that was released before the most current one. So far I have had no crashes. Oh and I have also had the pleaseure of both reinstalling Steam and Mafia 2.

having the same "just hard punches" problem. reinstalled and tried without a no-cd crack, and it works...but get crashes from the trainer. Guess I won't be cheatin' for this one for the time being. heh.
