I would only trust the Linux version for 64 bit processing. The Windows 64-bit editions are terrible with compatibility.

It's ok to vary between a few KGs, plus or minus (you have to account for body functions like losing water via sweat and breathing, bathroom, ect).

Should also note:

1800 CALORIES IS THE BARE MINIMUM YOU NEED TO EAT EVERYDAY! Anything below that is going to start burning bones and muscle. That's going to look even worse than being fat. The ideal person should eat 2000 calories per day to maintain weight (if over this, 2000 will actually help in losing weight per day where as if your underweight, this will gain your weight).

As my professor stated, the ideal weight loss plan is 1 pound per week. It doesn't sound like a lot, but there are 52 weeks in a year and losing 50+ pounds when you're not obese will put you dangerously underweight.

Yes you do. Luckily, losing fat isn't rocket science.

Solutions:
-Have a bike? Easy riding for at least an hour everyday. Not to the point where you start gasping for breath, that's aerobic exercise and is aimed at making your respiratory and heart more buff, not burn fat. To do that, you need to just do some easy riding.

-Don't have one? Mild jogging can do that trick. Again as above, not riggerous. Run a mile everyday and aim for a time between 8-10 min (below 8 min is leaning towards aerobic exercise).

-Contrary to what most people say, dieting isn't as hard as it seems. Just eat around 2000 calories everyday (about 700 per meal...snacks are ok if you know you've eaten less than that). Throw in like an apple or orange or some other fruit a day.

-My personal recommendation based on my own interests (does not apply) is a Martial Arts class (what discipline to study is your choice).
