I don't think it's "money grubbing" or "greed" or "anything like that".
It's simply good business practice. They're not even doing anything untoward to get your medical info, you're VOLUNTEERING it to them.
The DoJ is getting access to medical records as part of their "improved" background check systems. So if your prospective employer files a background check with the government, they'll find out how healthy you are. Guess what, you're not getting the job.
That is also not "greedy" or "money grubbing" and is still good business practice on the part of the company. It's bad policy on the part of the government.
