Americans want to think that the world is mechanistic--that you can remove a cog and replace it and it'll work. But they actually believe that it's organic--that you need to slowly groom a tree into the shape you want.
I have them all DVRed. Ron Pearlman is an excellent actor, which you wouldn't be able to tell if you don't watch foreign films since he has yet to be in a good American movie.
