It's visual style is raygun gothic. It's story is fairly standard classic scifi. It's design backdrop is retro-futuristic from the 1950s.
Thinking of it, it really doesn't incorporate the literary themes associated with any -punk genre.
The story says that the FDA would pay special towards those products marketed at children, which I would assume would include mint. Which is why I want to cry.
