I find the CEO to be refreshing in his candidness. It is the man's job to advance his company's interests and make money for the shareholders.
To think he should give a flying turd about the consumer is naive in the extreme. It's not his damn job to make you feel good about the crappy games you buy because you've been brainwashed to think they're good by the pay-for-review system (you pay us, or we give you a bad review) internet gaming sites created in early part of this decade. It's the marketing staff's job to lie to you to make you feel good about your purchases.
My respect for Activision's management just went up about fifty billion points.
I am looking forward to the films "June 17, 1994", "Into the Wind", "The Two Escobars", "Steve Bartman: Catching Hell", "The Best That Never Was" and "Straight Outta L.A.".
The one on Wayne Gretzky's trade from the Oilers to the Kings was a brilliant documentary.
We had to have multiple choice in High School; a teacher doesn't get paid overtime to grade the 600 exams from his six sessions of one class.
Except in electronics. Then our exam would be "build a clock" or "design an RC tank that has a flame thrower" or "go play with the magnetron from a microwave and see if you can get it to cook a hot dog from twenty feet away".
Of course there were only a half dozen people in those classes.
