I think the Usies should be run by a random newbie. Someone with no more than one month on the forum at the time of the start of the nominations. Make it fun.
A correction. During the cripteia, aogoe students were allowed to kill ONE helot and only if they needed food. The purpose was to stalk the helot and learn stealth. And adults would follow them and stalk them in turn.
And if the boy was discovered during the cripteia, he was beaten. Often to death.
It's a fair bet that more spartan boys died than helots.
