My current tax rate in the state of Wisconsin, combining federal and state, is 43%. The new health care bills are saying there is a new 35% tax on income across the board. This equals 78%.
Then add the new 10% VAT that they want to tack on in addition to sales tax and everything you buy will become 10% more expensive.
And then if they add cap and trade, anyone who owns a house will be murdered in taxes all over again.
