As for male genital mutilation, circumcision of infants is recommended by virtually every public health administration in the world because it reduces the chances of spreading some sexually transmitted diseases and eliminates the serious problem of guys getting infected foreskins and needing it removed as an adult--because if you need it removed as an adult, you need to keep Mr Willy under control.
