I used to play hours and hours and finally decided to put my twist into that mist of war.

Enjoying watching how my formidable lines can curb attacking forces... Watching my Bumble-Bees artillery rip them to pieces. Hah! elevations covered with body parts.

That's the guaranteed recipe for a successful war game.

But you know something? I read a lot, like a self proclaimed prophecy to know more. So, it helps me to drift apart from actual real world into my own thoughts....

Saljuqs, specially the Malek-Shah was a highly religious and conservative ruler from Turkic roots. Their origin goes to Turkic Slaves who turned to Islam.

They all have roots in Mongols from central Asia.

One of the notable notoriety of their backwardness was killing and burning 200 Persian scientist with their books along with. Claiming against words of God, Allah of Islam.

Hassan Sabbah, was moderate muslim who was highly nationalist and even there are doubt he was even a muslim. He rarely prayed and always used Islam as an political justification.

He was highly against Arabs and Turks and their influence in Iran/Persia. At some points, there are parts of literature shows he abhorred Turks and Arabs for suppressing Persians historically.

He was during the father of Persia, the esteemed Ferdowsi. Medieval ages.

He is one the famous tripartite classmates. the three genous. Khayyam, Khaje Nasir-e-Tousi and Hassan Sabbah.

They has famous fortresses, most famous one Alamout. Which is named after a famous Deylaman King, from Gilan territories of my fatherland Persia!

I followed the game all through three sequels.

Thanks to one good member, Knightpress, I was really enjoying this game and altering even skins for units.

Favorite fraction was Panzer-Elite which was WaffenSS I believe.

But, suddenly I stopped playing the game because I didn't have the time to download new maps and continue the adventure.

Now, I heard that the CoH 2 is coming soon. The Eastern front. Not the Player-created mod but the official sequel.
