Symantec are not very good IMO. The company I work for had a virus jumping from server to server and after a couple of attempts Symantec support just shrugged their shoulders and said they couldn't help. Ended up with server rebuilds which is no fun.
I guess the deer need to get a bit more vocal about this issue, if they wont speak up for themselves they'll never get anything like elevated crossings.
I feel for you, I actively avoid Steam and Origin if I can. I hope game developers stop making games that only work with either of these programs, that would be awesome.
