Russians already upgraded their beta servers with micropayments. There are rumors that a year long subscription will be 90$ (premium account). With that you also get additional 2500 gold and 2 new tanks, KV-220 and some weird Panzer V/IV. They also added another beast, the JagdTiger. It's a tank destroyer, 200mm frontal armor with, I guess, 128mm cannon.
Well it's only PvP play but yes it's good. We get 150 gold every 24 hours. You can buy a premium account for 250 gold to get 50% more experience (unlock parts and tanks) and credits (buy parts, ammo, repairs). I would recommend you to at least try it. I just bought myself a Tiger tank for 1.57 million credits. ^_^
