Here's a few tips I recieved a while back-have an easy to read layout -make sure you check over your grammar mistakes (spell check ftw) -make sure your guide provides useful information for people playing the game also, length < layout < content readibility and content are key

here's the results of me messing with this picture.I did this all before I posted the picture. 
then I decided to use an ocean fill 
then I got frustrated
this pic just wont work as an avatar here, if any artists out there want to prove me wrong, be my guest. It dosent take anything away from the fact that it's an awesome pic. [Edited by Latiosmaster47, 2/1/2008 11:49:44 PM]

I thought about turning it into an avatar, but it's too wide. I would have to crop out a good portion of it in order to make it 165 by 80. I'm still testing it out a bit, it really is a great picture to work with.
