That first one is obvious because i could hear the audio of it happening. The man, (and older person, probably a vietnam vet or something) after recieving instructions from the police not to shoot the robbers, went out and did it anyway. People then called him a hero. Was his life in immediate danger? No, it wasn't. He had a freaking shotgun FFS. He's a murderer; nothing more, and he should be treated as one. Personally, i thought the man should have recieved at least life in prison. The second scenario is a lot more simple. If he damaged any property, he should have to pay for it. I.E. a broken door, television, tables, etc. then he should have to pay for them if he has the means to do so. If not, then he should be charged with a misdemenor of whatever breaking and entering is classified as. It's obvious that even if he didn't learn his lesson, it's unlikely with someone who has a conscience would rob again. [Edited by Latiosmaster47, 4/28/2008 7:54:29 AM]
