I tried to clean the first one up a bit.

Does the person who loses in the winner's bracket get eliminated right away, or do they get a chance to continue in the tournament? (because they haven't lost twice)

Usually in double elimination tournaments, the winner from the loser's brasket faces off against the loser of the winner's bracket in a single-game elimination. (because the loser will have two losses, and thereby be eliminated)

Then the winner of that match would have to play the winner of the winner's bracket, but would have to defeat the winner of the winner's bracket twice in order to win. Lose once, and they lose.

Using that format, it's possible that the winner's bracket finals could be repeated, because the winner of the loser's bracket could lose to the loser of the winner's bracket.

I wish I could have said that more accurately, but hopefully I got my point across. :/

I like the tournament's over all setup with the winner's and loser's brackets too. Seems very baseballish.
