Look, either way you look at it, that's been jeopardised by you just partaking in a community or using forums.
I'm fairly sure no one knows me from adam even though I've been here a while and most everyone on the site knows who I am. As for what I think, I'm in the same boat with Neo. Modesty isn't something to be looked down upon. Not everyone seeks fame and fortune, some people are just out to help others or just to have some fun.
Dhampy makes a good point too. With all the internet stalking people do nowadays, it's smarter to remain anonymous if you want to share your true opinions with the masses. That way none of your opinions can come back to bite you in the ass by way of losing your job or ruining a relationship with somebody.
I've been here a while and contribute to the site in any way I can. I like to make people laugh, and get a kick out of entertaining people. I also like to compete, and enter (and usually win ) every CHU contest that springs up. I like to think I do a good job of ignoring trolls and not letting others get the best of me, but that's something I'm always trying to improve. I think my posting over the last six months has really dramatically improved from the way it was before. Now I can get my point across in a funny or topical way and sound (kind of) smart while doing it.
