If they ignore the problems and those problems don't become exposed to the general public, then all is well. However, if news gets out that they're defective then it becomes a PR disaster, the company looks (and is) neglectful and the damage becomes much worse than if they just owned up to it in the first place.

On a kind of related note, it looks like phantom brave is being released for the wii in a couple days, I like(d) disgaea a lot and I've never played PB before, so I'll probably pick it up. If for nothing else than to see what ash is like.
