I agree with you, and I'd like to add that there are also those people that liked it at first, but after reading it over and over again, they realize that the book is actual crap.
I'm one of those people, I've read each of them over 50 times (cept New Moon :O) and I don't really like the book now. It's not that the writing is horrible, it's just that the entire book is cheesy and repetitive and bla bla bla. Ya o.o

And the Twilight series seems to me a lot like an anime I'm watching -- Vampire Knight.
Girl is sandwitched b/w 2 guys and can't choose yada yada yada. :P

But yeah, I agree with you. And I love Edward Cullen. <33
