WOW though is failing, the latest expansion has been a let down for me.
The crafting is practically gone now, stats that make no real difference to anything, the squish on stats has made the game feel less epic.
The garrison and followers somewhat save the expansion, but yeah.... not happy though.
SWTOR has been not so bad, with the redesigned planets (not all of them though) and changes to other parts of the game has brought it back in to the light, but when they charged double for the expansion over what people paid for the Hutt expansion... well yeah people were not happy.
GW2 is a great game until you do everything lol Never will I want to do the 100% exploration again.... nothing I hate more in life now than those damn jumping puzzles.
For their 3..
The Secret World had so much promise, but the engine was bad.... very bad it was laggy and ate resources, but the quests and places are well designed and are challenging. But I wouldn't put it above WOW or TOR.
TESO - I bought the whatever it was edition where you get a horse and stuff, I played it for 3 weeks on and off and never went back. TES games and MMOs just don't mix, I found most of the maps empty and boring. Shouldn't be in top 3.
LOTRO wasn't so back in the day, but I did try it again when it had been F2P for a while, the engine was updated which was nice, but the quests etc were all dunno casualized to make them easier - just like WoW it has became a casual's dream to play. But it isn't bad either. Maybe top 5.
