I just bought and downloaded this FF7 and the engine is different, heavily using DX9/11. That is a lot of work right there to develop a new engine to accept old texture files.But hey, we shall see. Squaresoft may have said no in the past, but if they didn't release an HD version in the future they would be committing corporate suicide, the revenue it would make would be huge... Old die hard fans in their 40s would buy it just for the nostalgia and the new look.

Well you could say they did invest time and money into getting the engine to work on Vista and 7 :PBut if they do a HD Remake, its almost going to be a PS4 exclusive title to help sell the console on launch.

Yeah like how did they release Crysis 1 also, I remember that being buggy as hell with a lot of people.Welcome to the PC market, where you are not guaranteed 100% playability with all PC builds :P

I like this bit of his site (taken from coding, not going to his site full of suspicious java)minecraft freebie ok if you have a friend that has it alredy if you licenes trade with them you can have it for free careful though if you mess up you could both be in troubeland have to buy it as always keep checkin in for more cheats,glitches and mods.
