Cameos Galore
Screenwriter/Filmmaker John Sayles makes a cameo as the morgue attendant. B-movie god Roger Corman also has a small, non-speaking part. When The woman at the beginning gets out of the phone booth, a man gets in. That's him. The editor and founder of the magazine "Famous Monsters of Film land", Forrest J. Ackerman, has a cameo as a browser playing with Tarot cards in Dick Miller's magic shop. Miller says to him, "If you want to buy, buy." Ackerman shrugs and leaves.
