For the cheatcodes to work you have to enable them. At the title screen, press X, Y, Y, X, X, Y, Y, Start.
Invincible:
Pause, press both triggers and Right at the same time.
Level skip:
Pause, press both triggers and down at the same time.
Clear pause screen:
Pause, then press X + Y.
