Okay, I messed up I forgot to add Aurora.exe's folder to the exception too. Support helped out. Can Confirm Everything works!!
I, too, didn't think to whitelist Aurora.exe's folder! Now everything works for me!
Checked up the trainer today since previous warbond update (about a month ago).
Can confirm, everything works.
The only issue is constant ~5 sec freezes when picking up medals/supercreds on points of interest.
Noticed that both gpu/cpu usage plummets to ~8% during freezes.
Does not happen when running without the trainer.
Checked with active trainer but with no option enabled and game would still freeze when picking up medals/supercreds.
Some info for people who may be struggling with launch:
The launcher is the first one that I got sometime in March (when it was just introduced, instead of helldivers.exe file)
The launcher was deleted by my antivirus (did not happen before), so had to whitelist it.
You need to activate it as soon as you see "game found" message in Aurora.
If you're too slow, the game won't launch.
The game freezes when picking up SC/medals due to some hidden anti-cheat checks because the GG does not start
Is it possible to add in a map feature that shows optional objective locations? like stalker lairs
Show Points of Interest on Map does that, if not there are no new options that will be added

I am done with this title unless there is some new feature that warrants me looking into it.
Enjoy the trainer as is, while you can, while it still works. There is no telling whether we will be able to update it forever if some patch comes along and kills it.
