The issue I am having and I am sure it is user error is that when I change the stats for Magic, defense etc, they do not change in game. Along with that they values listed are not even close to the values in game. I installed the additional files so I really cannot not seem to track the issue down. maybe I installed the add on file wrong ? Any idea? Thanks.
Chances are that the stats that you saw and edited were for your pawn and not for your character. As another poster has suggested, open up the map first before going back to the trainer and you should see your own character's stats populate the various fields.
As for the value (assuming you are referring to stats as well), keep in mind the explanation in the first post. 100 in game is 1000 in the trainer and so on. They are also base values, meaning that it is the value your character has if they are buck naked (ie not wearing any gear) and without any sort of stat buff.

Thanks for the input. I'll give it a try.
Very happy for the trainer. I can't imagine the work that goes into it, especially with anti-cheats to work against.
For DCP, the map solution does not work for me. The correct numbers never show up. However, if I look in STATUS, and at the character, and keep switching character btween player and pawn, and click "refresh number" on mobile app, eventually it does show. The correct numbers show, but nothing I do will change them. Not directly, not by locking a number - nothing happens, and when I try to buy more spells I can't, as my DCP is too low. (I have 99 right now as typing this).
It is cool that people are trying different things and reporting them, but seem to be such a fulctuating problem that I imagine the anti-cheat is still working in certain areas. There is no one-solution that works for all, it seems.
But by all means, anyone who find a trick to get to work - please do share!
Thank you, and thank the devs!
Quick edit:
Letting my pawn die (hated him anway), and not respawning him. Once I went to purchase new skills, I could lock the value in the EDITOR, and purcahse my skills. DCP does decrease then, but when you go back to the conversation, and click on buy skills again, the value is back to where you locked it. This worked so that I could buy all avaiable skills, quickly save, and then turn off the lock (because the game does crash on me if I leave it locked).
