As a note when it is downloaded the file name just shows up as "wl-" in the download bar and does not show the full file name like I would expect with other trainer downloads.

Downloaded fine for me, full name and all that, may be a cloud hiccup, try it again and also make sure CH is whitelisted in your browser/security software.

I have attempted to download it multiple times and it experiences the same issues each time. I have also downloaded trainers for other games and experienced no issue running them.

Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try the download again.

CyPHeR369, thanks also for the tips.

I did all the stuff suggested, but....

In my case, I can get the game and the trainer running (though like a cold car, it sometimes takes a couple tries for it to stick). Usually the trainer activates properly, says all the right things for options, but then like 30-45 seconds later, I get an 'Unknown error code---->Error#2157. Then the trainer crashes. It also does this whether the game is on or not, or I've pushed anything or not. I have the .txt file it spat out if somebody would like to see it.

Quick question, is your windows the updated 21h1 or 21h2 ?

Disconnect the internet and use an offline key and see if the trainer works again.

I downloaded this trainer:

turned off ALL anti virus, anti malware, all app and browser control, made sure windows defender all settings were off, then ran the trainer

runs perfectly fine.

Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2

OS build 19042/285

I have no suggestions nor can I fix anything as it works 100% here.
