Luckily it does have a single player mode, as all the reviews and commercials for it have stated. I had been looking forward to the original Titanfall game, even preordered it (yea, yea, I know, bad move), as it reminded me of an old but fun series, Mech Warrior, but when I heard that it was only multiplayer, I immediately canceled the preorder and requested a refund, which I got. Best decision made. As a result, I have nothing to compare Titanfall 2 to, so I have enjoyed it so far.
I do dislike how fast the titan battery drains, but I get it, and I also love how the game doesn't leave you permanently in the titan, changing it to a mech game but has you going on solo missions, which to me enhances the relationship between player and titan, and the truly autonomous aspects of the titan. Is it worth purchasing? I will leave that up to the reviewers out there but I have enjoyed it.
